Campaign Media Company of the Year UK Awards celebrates the very best media companies and networks in their field. The awards recognises and rewards companies producing great work, content curation, and commercial success.
COMPANY
ADTECH PROVIDER
This award recognises the best adtech provider focused on media-related solutions. Judges will be looking for companies that utilise technologies such as AI, data analytics, CRM and programmatic advertising to help advertisers identify and reach their target audiences.
ONLINE PLATFORM
This award recognises the best online platform for its innovation and impact on media consumption. Judges will be looking to recognise businesses working collaboratively with brands and agencies and driving innovation in content and advertising partnerships. The online platform should demonstrate how it uses data and technology to improve the overall advertiser and user experience and deliver commercial results.
AUDIO AND PODCAST
This award recognises a company specialising in audio advertising, including those focused on radio, digital audio and podcasts. Judges will be looking for excellence in campaign delivery, brand partnerships and creative executions.
BRANDED CONTENT
This award recognises a company developing, creating and distributing branded content. Judges will be looking to recognise businesses working collaboratively with advertisers to create great entertainment that resonates with audiences and delivers on brand objectives.
CONNECTED TV PLATFORMS
This award recognises a CTV platform that has delivered outstanding performance, innovation and audience engagement. Judges will be looking for a platform that has most effectively delivered results for advertisers, including views, data, leads and/or sales.
GAMING
This award recognises a gaming company or platform that is leading the way in commercial partnerships, alongside excellence in game development, innovation and community engagement. Judges will be looking for a company that has developed creative and engaging brand partnerships that deliver for its audience and its advertisers.
INFLUENCER AND CONTENT CREATOR
This award recognises a company or platform supporting, representing or employing influencers and content creators that partner with advertisers. Judges will be looking for evidence of creators working collaboratively with brands to deliver content that delights audiences and smashes brand objectives.
MAGAZINE
This award recognises a B2B and/or B2C magazine company that consistently engages, surprises and delivers for its readers and commercial partners. Judges will be looking for products that successfully demonstrate editorial excellence, audience engagement, innovation and strategic vision and deliver commercial results.
MEDIA RESEARCH
This award recognises a research company that provides data-driven insights and analysis to help businesses understand the media landscape, audience behaviour and effectiveness of media campaigns. Judges will be looking for a company whose work has helped shape strategy, inform decisions and drive growth across media and advertising.
MEDIA TRADE BODY
The award recognises an organisation that represents the interests of companies involved in the media industry, or a part of it. Judges will be looking for bodies that advocate for their members’ interests with governments, promote the sector (including to advertisers) and provide networking and research.
NEWS BRAND
The award recognises a news organisation that has demonstrated outstanding journalism and audience development alongside a strong commercial performance. Judges will look for commercial and editorial excellence across digital, print, audio and/or video.
OUT OF HOME
This award recognises an organisation making an impact through outdoor advertising. Judges will be looking for a company that has developed creative and engaging brand partnerships, has a record of innovation and investment in the OOH space, and has delivered commercial results.
RETAIL
This award recognises a retailer or commerce platform that has excelled in building, scaling or innovating its media network. Honouring excellence in data-driven advertising, shopper engagement and omnichannel strategy, judges will be looking for a retailer that has most effectively leveraged its media assets to deliver measurable impact for brands while enhancing the customer experience.
START-UP
This category will reward a media owner or company providing services or advertising opportunities to brands and media agencies in its first two years of operation. All disciplines are welcome.
TV AND VIDEO STREAMING
This award recognises TV and video streaming companies for their innovation and impact on media consumption. Judges will be looking to recognise businesses working collaboratively with brands and agencies, driving innovation in content and advertising partnerships and improving the overall viewing experience to deliver commercial results.
PEOPLE & TEAMS
The following categories will look to award teams and individuals across media brands, platforms and companies. You should address the following within your submission:
- INTRODUCTION – give detail of personal attributes and core values.
- APPROACH – outline successful strategies, initiatives or approaches implemented in your role or by your team within the last 12 months and how they have advanced the business.

SUMMARY OF ACHIEVEMENTS – provide examples of achievements both internally within your organisation or within the wider industry, and the impact of those, along with future goals.
CLIENT OR PARTNERSHIPS DIRECTOR
This award recognises professionals responsible for building relationships with brands and developing strategic partnerships to drive revenue and growth. Judges will be looking for examples of collaboration, commercial growth and long-term value creation.
COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR
This award recognises a commercial leader who has delivered outstanding sales performance and revenue growth within the media industry. Judges will be looking for strategy, team leadership and client relationships while consistently exceeding targets.
COMMERCIAL MARKETING LEADER OR TEAM
This award recognises a marketing leader or team who supports the commercial team in its efforts to drive revenues. Judges will be looking for a marketing leader or team that has delivered exceptional results after taking an innovative and creative approach to elevating perception of the media company’s proposition among agencies and brands.
DATA AND ANALYTICS LEAD
This award recognises an individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in harnessing data to drive success in the media industry. Judges will be looking for audience insight, performance measurement and strategic decision-making, delivering measurable impact for their organisation, clients and wider industry.
MARKETING DIRECTOR
This award recognises a marketing leader who has driven exceptional brand growth, audience engagement and commercial impact within a media organisation. Judges will be looking for strategic vision, creative innovation and measurable results from an individual who has successfully elevated their organisation's presence and strengthened its market position.
MEDIA LEADER OF THE YEAR
This award recognises an overall leader of a UK media organisation who has shown exceptional vision, influence and impact within their industry over the review period. Judges will be looking for outstanding leadership, strategic innovation and executives who have not only delivered commercial and creative success but also helped share the future of the industry.
PLANNING OR STRATEGY LEADER
This award recognises an individual who has expanded the strategic thinking and planning expertise within a media company. Judges will be looking for a leader who has delivered measurable results and influenced brands and agencies’ thinking of their company or sector.
SALES PERSON
This award celebrates an individual sales person for their personal contribution to a media company’s commercial revenue. Judges will be looking for a sales person with tenacity, who works collaboratively with agencies and brands in order to deliver outstanding results for advertisers and the media company alike.
